Small Slams

The partnership that bids and makes a contract of six earns the slam bonus, 500 if they have not yet made game, 750 if they have.

Grand Slams

The partnership that succeeds at a contract of seven earns the grand slam bonus, twice the small slam bonus. The grand slam bonus replaces the small slam bonus -- it does not add to it. The trick score from a slam contract counts toward game.

Failing in a slam contract loses both the slam bonus and the partnership's game.

Honors

Any player who holds four of the top five cards in trumps earns 100 points for her side. Any player who holds all five top cards in trumps or all four aces in a notrump contract earns 150 honors.
In the unlikely event that a defender holds honors, the defender must wait until the play is over to claim them. Otherwise, the defender would convey unauthorized information to his partner.
